All our systems come with a Clear Frosted Acrylic core layer standard. We find it provides the optimal balance of light transmition and privacy for systems being used as room dividers and doors.

One side is frosted, the other is glossy. RAYDOOR typical specification has the frosted side face the more "public" side, and the glossy face the more "private" side. Hardware items like face mounted flush bolts used in sliding walls will be mounted on the glossy or "private" side unless otherwise specified. Clear Frosted is NOT ideal for closets, storage rooms, and situations where objects that you want to conceal are going to be less than 18" from the panel because you will see them slightly.
