Our patented TWINFRAME™ panel design makes Raydoor unique. It's constructed by "sandwiching" or permanently bonding two real wood veneer or laminate frames (either 1" or 3/4" thicknesses each, with a pre- engineered MDF substrate) to a 1/4" thick core, typically acrylic or resin. This technique adds strength while allowing exposure of the core layer on all edges of the panel, creating a desirable architectural detail we call the "Ray Edge". The materials used allow for the panel to be light in weight, easy to operate, offering many finish options & adding to an unmatched design sensibility.
How To Order
The first step towards finding the right Raydoor solution for you is to know roughly the opening height and width of the space where you’d like the system installed. Knowing the height and width helps estimate the number of panels and model design you can use. Next, decide how you’d like your panels to operate: sliding, folding, stacking, pivoting, fixed. This will help determine the system configuration best suited for your opening. Last, select the core and frame finishes and if desired, a lattice design. Our Quickship program offers reduced lead time on select systems using standard options. If you can build your opening to fit our straight sliding systems and use in-stock core and frame finishes, your order will ship in 20 BUSINESS DAYS FROM PURCHASE DATE, plus shipping time: Click Here.
